Why I created this Shrine...

As I've surfed around the web, I've noticed the creation of a new type of web page for some anime characters. A Shrine. A web page dedicated towards the acknowledgement of the beauty of the character, or more correctly, of the love the author has for the character. I've seen shrines to Skuld, Ryoko, Sailor Mercury, and a number of other female anime characters. That's when it hit me...

There was no shrine to Ayukawa Madoka!!

 

So, who the heck is Ayukawa Madoka, anyway?

Blasphemer!

Ok, for the ignorant, Ayukawa Madoka is the primary female lead in the manga/anime series Kimagure Orange Road by Izumi Matsumoto, which consists of 48 TV episodes ( aired 1987-8), 8 OVAs, and two movies, as well as 18 collected volumes of manga, two novels, a radio drama series, and a new CD-ROM comic. From the anime, OVAs, and movie come about a dozen music and/or drama CDs.

 

More reasons for the Ayukawa Madoka Shrine...

Ayukawa Madoka is the epitomy of the perfect anime girl. She's beautiful...
...and she plays one mean sax....
...plus, she can defend herself quite well...
...is very sexy...
...and I just couldn't resist when she looked at me like that!
Oh, and did I mention she's soooo sexy?
...and that steely look when she get's determined.... ahhh...
...she can be demure....
...as well as athletic...

 

But mainly because....

...she asked me to!!
