From the foreign participants the most came from

Germany (75%) and Austria (16%), followed by

Switzerland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium,

Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic and France. 1999 is

A copy of an email we received stated:

Just had a look at your site - followed the link from the GSclub bulletin board. Cool site.Something that you might consider providing links to is the Enduromania site. This is a brillant example of off road biking and sustainable tourism that actually works in Romania. I am winding the Rangers up in the Peak District with the concept. It is mainly germans that go there at present - it is about time that the Brits showed them :) I visited in the summer for the start of one of their events - an amazing place to ride, amazing beautiful country, the locals have the biggest hearts, (the girls are gorgeous) and it is very cheap. Set up by a Romanian who discovered off road riding whilst working in Germany - it has developed an excellent infrastructure for sustainable tourism and all the income stays where it matters - local. Very special experience.Have a look at their website www.enduromania.net it is in both german and english. I have the video on CD - if you are interested - can send a copy. It takes a few days to get down there -but well worth a visit and then to explore after the event is well recommended. I spent 6 weeks in the region - on a GS that BMW lent me! Expensive as I could not give it back and had to buy it!Regards to Wales - spent nearly 2 years living in a cottage in the forest between Llandovery and Llanwrytd Wells .  Gavin Bell
