ONTARIO

The center of Canada and its largest province.  But most of the population is in the south.

After Quebec, on Highway 8, you enter Ontario on Highway 17 following it all the way to Thunder Bay. Shortly west of that point HY 17 and Hy 11 diverge.   Take Hy 11 to avoid the traffic.   One traveller reported that they were following 5 vehicles and they all went straight and when the traveller turned on Hy 11 they were by themselves, seldom seeing any other vehicles.  By taking this route one will see the following signs:
