on an R60/2 in 1984.
Thank goodness cucumbers are less slippery, or Turkish roads would be
virtually impassable.
Near Iznik I was somehow talked into going to a local wedding "for tea" by a
Turkish R51/3 owner. That was at 10 AM. I was allowed to go home twelve
hours later. I haven't had Arak, Ouzo, Pastisse, Pernod or Grappa since. To
cite Mark Twain, "I have had hangovers before, but this was a masterpiece."
I saw Kangus as well, but never up close. Just last week, however, I saw
Dick Cheney.
