URUGUAI TO USHUAIA

I started out in Montivideo Uruguai, after a 9 day wait for the bike, from there I took a hi speed boat to Buenos Aires Argentina, because the 2 closest bridges were closed due to strikes, from B A, I took route 3 south, spending the night at Carmen DE Patagones. I spent New years here, had a BBQ at 10 PM at a deserted restaurant, so was the rest of the town (small town), everyone came out to celebrate at 2AM, they were out till 6:30AM when I left, families all were out. As a custom Argentinians dine very late and their bars/clubs open at 3AM and close at 7AM.

Next night I´m at the town of Comodoro Rivadavia, then Rio Gallegos, finally I´m in Ushuaia YAHOOOOOOOO.

The roads have been very good quality, I´ve been able to cruise at 70MPH, except when the winds are coming from the sides, the winds are wicked, and around most of the afternoons. I´ve had to ride on about 100 miles of dirt roads here at the Southern tip.

I´ve seen many Guanacos, Armadilos, tiny Foxes (zoro) and ostriches.

For the last 2 days I´ve been ridding with 2 Brasilian couples.

Having a great time.

Wish you well

Andre
